3 Common Myths About Yoga

Whenever I tell people I teach yoga, I get one of two responses:

"Oh wow, I'd love to take one of your classes."  OR

"Oh, I can't do yoga. I'm not flexible."

There are a lot of beliefs like this second response that keep people from trying yoga. It makes me sad that so many people miss out on the wonderful benefits of a regular yoga practice because of these kind of beliefs. Motivation Monday: I can't do yoga.

Saying you can't do yoga because you're not flexible is like saying you can't take a bath because you're dirty. If you are not flexible...then that's a VERY GOOD reason to do yoga.
