I’ve been teaching yoga to a few Columbia residents in the park since June 2020, and it dawned on me that I didn’t know any of them before. They are all great people and we have helped each other get through this time of uncertainty.
It’s sad to me that we don’t know our neighbors better than we do so I wanted to extend what I’ve been doing to the entire neighborhood of Columbia. Attend one, two, three, or all sessions! Whatever you can make but it'd be great if you can make them all. If you're not flexible or have never done yoga before, don't let that stop you from participating! This event is designed for you! |
Saturday, March 13 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. |
Begin with the Breath This session will include poses that flow one into the other focusing on synchronizing your breath and movement. Ideal if you're not familiar with yoga so it's not intimidating! |
Saturday, March 20 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. |
Mindful Movement This session will focus on purposeful alignment in each pose. We'll work on paying attention to our bodies and listen to what it tells us. Even if you can't touch your toes, you'll have fun in this session. |
Saturday, March 27 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. |
Go with the Flow This session will be all about being okay with whatever comes up in each moment. We'll practice letting go of "shoulds" and "musts" in what we "think" yoga should look like and let it be what it is. |
Saturday, April 3 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. |
Root to Rise This session will focus on the importance of building a strong foundation so we can rise up tall. We'll walk through variations of balancing poses so you can determine what kind of challenge you want. |
Attend one or all sessions!
I look forward to meeting you and doing yoga with you!
