Wellness is a HUGE trend right now, but what does it really mean to you?
Your wellness path is going to be very different from mine, or anyone else's. However, wellness can be summarized as practicing daily habits that move you toward the physical and mental health outcomes you desire. In essence, it's what helps you to not just survive, but THRIVE.
As your wellness coach I help you THRIVE as you age because I'm over 55, myself. Aging is NOT easy but there are TONS of things you can do to set yourself up to age well.

What We'll Do Together
We begin with the mind
We all want to stay as active, strong, and independant for as long as possible the older we get. However, it can be difficult to stay motivated as your body and mind change with age. It's very easy to get discouraged by what you "can't" do anymore, or what you used to be able to do. This is where a dedicated yoga practice is critical. And I'm not talking about impossible poses. Yoga is a practice for your mind, which is extremely helpful in navigating the transitions (and challenges) of aging. You may not be able to control what's going on with your body as you age but I'll show you that you can learn to control your inner world through yoga. |
Then we look at nutrition
I believe holistic nutrition is an essential wellness practice to support the body's innate healing abilities and prevent disease. Our choices on what we eat determine whether our body is functioning at peak levels or whether our body is struggling. I also believe in simplicity. Complicated or trendy diets are too difficult (and expensive) to maintain. Eat real, whole foods and your body (and your wallet) will thank you! When we work together, we'll come up with foods and meals that fit your lifestyle and fuel your body so you feel amazing. |
Finally, we address stress
Most of us are super stressed out. This alone can age you faster than anything else so, addressing the stress that present in your life is a critical part of what we do together. We use a number of stress management tools like breathing, meditation, and movement to create your wellness path. No two practices are ever alike so we work to figure out what works best for you. |
